I’m Elizabeth Misek, a picture book illustrator and author from the Hunter Valley, Australia.

I love getting lost in a story.

When I read a manuscript, I start seeing the world around it.

The houses, trees, streets, expressions and hidden details.

I love creating places characters can live in, and illustrations children can come back to again and again.
